It shows a fallen/wounded Burgundian man at arms about to be despatched by a Swiss. The Burgundian uses plastic parts from the Perry Foot Knights. The Swiss is a plastic figure from the Bills & Bows box, with legs repositioned and gaps filled. The dagger arm is cut down from plastic Perry Beja and then dressed with green stuff. I'm happy with the overall composition.
More coming along soon....
Excellent job, I particularly like the additional GS work on the hair, feather and arm, the composition is rather nice too, looking forward to many more
ReplyDeleteLovely finish and interesting wip.

Great looking marker! I too prefer to keep track of casualties with such markers... unfortunately there are so few commercially available for those of us that lack your apparent skill at converting.
ReplyDeleteThat looks pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteExcellent job as usual!
ReplyDeleteTremendous work. Very realistic composition
ReplyDeleteReally great stuff. The Rondel dagger looks particularly mean!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done but rather grim - that really brings home the brutal reality of hand to hand fighting.
ReplyDeleteI was planning to do some casualty markers myself of dead / wounded combatants but after seeing yours and StuartM's, I'm starting to think something more abstract and less bloody might be more my thing, as well as less of a creative challenge.
Chilling stuff. Brutal but very well executed.
ReplyDeleteBringing the battle down to a personal level. Wish you could make castings of this wonderfully done vignette.
ReplyDeleteCheers
